Fun with Baby Shower Invites

One of my all-time favorite clients contacted me recently to create some baby shower invitations for a dear friend of hers. She wanted cute, sophisticated and quick. Not necessarily in that order.

The baby's last name will be "King" and he has been dubbed "BB King" by his parents-to-be, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate the cuteness on the front of the invites. We went with an accordion fold invitation that easily fits all of the pertinent information. It's also great for a little extra drama.

Highlight Books for Everyone!

I wanted to share some recent personal projects that incorporate my fabtabulous Highlight Books. I first introduced this concept last fall and I'm so excited with the response. You met niece #1 right here. She's growing like a weed. I put together this Highlight Book for my sister-in-law to remind her that just two short months ago, her baby girl was teeny tiny.

I made this book for my husband to commemorate our recent trip to Italy. He keeps it at his desk at work and probably dreams about amazing scenery, great wine and incredible food. At least, that's what I do when I look at it.

You can have your very own Highlight Book for $15. Minimum order of 3 books. The process is simple: you send me your favorite high resolution photos and I do the rest.

In addition to the obvious uses (weddings, babies, travels, anniversaries, etc.) Highlight Books can also be used for fun invitations, favors and other event accessories. In the most recent issue of Bride & Bloom Magazine, my Highlight Books were featured as wedding invitations. The possibilities are endless!

Birth Announcements for Niece #1

Last month I went to Denver to meet my very first niece, Leah Mae. During our visit, we staged Leah's first photo shoot. As you can see, she's already a pro in front of the camera -- she didn't cry once. In fact, I'm pretty sure that aside from eating and sleeping, Leah's favorite things include modeling headbands and having her picture taken.

Baby Brody

It's always exciting when one of my brides has a baby. Even more so when she calls me to do her Birth Announcements! This little guy is Farrah and Andy's new little bundle of joy, and boy is he cute! These announcements were printed on textured linen stock, which gives them an ultra sophisticated look. In addition to having the return addresses printed on the envelopes, I can provide full service options - including printing the recipient addresses, applying postage and sending them out on your behalf. I don't have kids yet, but I know new mom's tend to be a bit frazzled and exhausted. Having someone take care of the announcements from start to finish is definitely a stress reliever and I'm happy to provide this service.
